My name is Judy and I have always had a fierce love of the arts! I have my own workshop/studio, and for the past fifteen years, I have really enjoyed creating original pieces of small furniture, including tables, cabinets, chests, trays, frames, etc. But, as I have gotten older, I have realized that perhaps I need a less dangerous hobby.
So I decided to take a watercolor class at a local community college, and I loved it! I followed up with painting and drawing classes to expand my expertise. I’ve now been studying for 5 years.
I paint every chance I get! Slowly but surely, saws and routers have been replaced by easels and paintbrushes, transforming my once sawdust-ridden workshop into an artist’s studio (but I’ve been known to take over the kitchen every once in a while!). Everything inspires me, from my home and garden to the cities and countrysides I’ve visited on my many travels.
I have had my work publicly displayed, from informal art walks, art shows in town, and even at the Performing Arts Center! My original paintings are for sale, and I also work on commission. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
10/2014 Just won a blue ribbon for one of my watercolors that was entered into the Tustin Art League Show. Look for it in my landscapes called “A Walk in a Paris Park.”
